New films by young people and emerging talent Wiltshire and beyond were screened in Chippenham, Salisbury and Swindon in February 2009. Linking up with the Oscars in LA these were the local heats in the Preloader film festival. Local audiences had a chance to see a wide range of short films from animations to short dramas.

Preloader 2007 culminated in a gala screening of the final showreel at the Wyvern Theatre in Swindon. The festival cycle was shortened to take place over a period of about 6 weeks from the first local heats to a single Big Night Out final screening. This proved to be a great success and with a venue opening up in Westbury thanks to support from Matravers School, Preloader 07 welcomed a bigger audience, more venues, more and even better films.Projects categories
